Cancellation terms for Hansarctic experience services

Valid from 9.10.2025 When you book an experience through our online service (hansarctic.fi) or another sales channel, you agree to the following cancellation terms:

1. Cancellation by the customer


  • Cancellation 365 - 14 days before the experience service: We charge a cancellation fee of 5% of the booking fee.
  • Cancellation less than 14 days before the experience or no-show: No refund


Cancellation must be made in writing by email to info@hansarctic.fi. Cancellation is considered to have taken place when we have confirmed receipt.

.2. Cancellation by the organizer


We reserve the right to cancel the experience service, for example:


  • Due to hazardous weather conditions
  • Due to technical or logistical obstacles
  • Due to too few participants

In this case, the customer will be refunded the full amount paid or offered the opportunity to postpone participation to another date.


3. Changes to the reservation


You can request a change to your booking (e.g. a change of date) up to 3 days before the safari. Changes are subject to availability.


4. Special situations


In case of illness or other exceptional circumstances, you can contact our customer service. We will try to find a flexible solution on a case-by-case basis.



5. Rights under the Consumer Protection Act


These cancellation terms do not limit the consumer's rights based on the Finnish Consumer Protection Act (38/1978). If our terms conflict with the law, the provisions of the Consumer Protection Act shall apply.
